The GridLogic aims to satisfy the huge domestic computing capacity needs by
using our inland power sources. Towards this the company wishes to establish the
most developed grid technology and charge based informatical power source distribution
model. This means that GridLogic (along with one or more broadband internet
supporters) contributes to the connection charge of the single PCs connected to
the internet. In return the users give free run of their free processor
capacity to GridLogic. So whilst the procurer’s calculations are running in a
protected environment on home (or other company) computers, results are being
obtained for only fragments of the operating price of a supercomputer and the
connected user can have the internet for a lower price.
At first the company establishes a system, wherein the internet users’ free
computing capacity is being collected and sold to the procurer. Thus the developed
computing capacity is available hourly per processor.
Following (with the extension of the project) the system allows the free
informatical resources (processor, storage device, etc.) to be reached as a
type of public services. With the „public services” construction investments
can be exchanged with operating costs, which gives more freedom and latitude in
designing, procurement and utilization of the informatical capacities.
