WM is a desktop Grid
system with high security parameters. The WM carries some significant
professional novelties in front of the already introduced products,
such as high standard data security, wide palette of adjustable options
for users , easy scalability. It’s parameters and security grades can
be fit in the environment and the given task.
Thanks
to the WM’s easier availability, the ready-made system can make the
Grid technology available for a more wider audience, with it’s help a
Grid software system can be developed, which is also precedent in
Europe.
WM desktop Grid system can be adapted to local (LDG) and global (GDG) levels.
Local
level means that the whole desktop GRID is behind the same firewall,
i.e. the desktop GRID resources are connected to a local network. In
this case security requirements are not too strict. Usually the local
GRID system satisfies the needs of the operational company.
Global
level means that resources interlock through the Internet. For example
seti@home is a global GRID system. LDG and GDG systems can be attached
to each other.
